ALOJAMIENTO EN CASA DE FAMILIA

SELECCION DE ALAS FAMILIAS
Para mayor seguridad del estudiante todas las familias anfitrionas estan cuidadosamente inspeccionadas y seleccionadas por HSI antes de colocar al estudiante. Muchas de las familias han trabajado con HSI durante los últimos 6 años. A todas las familias se les realiza un "Criminal Background Check" por el Departamento de Educación y Empleo (DEE) antes de que el estudiante sea colocado con la familia.

RECAMARA
Los estudiantes siempre son alojados en cuartos individuales con cama, closet, escritorio y calefacción. En muy pocas casas de familia el área de estudio se encuentra fuera de la recámara. En ocasiones puede haber otro estudiante internacional viviendo en la misma casa de familia, aunque si este es el caso se le consultará al estudiante y su familia si no hay inconveniente.

COMIDAS
El estudiante recibirá desayunos y cenas de lunes a viernes durante el periodo de clases y desayunos, lunch y cenas sábados y domingos y días festivos. De lunes a viernes los estudiantes deberán llevar su propio lunch.
El lunch se puede tomar dentro de la escuela por un costo adicional de 2.50 Libras esterlinas.

SERVICIOS
Regadera, lavandería una vez por semana, uso del teléfono (bajo acuerdo con la familia), acceso a áreas comunes de la casa.

OBLIGACIONES
Todas las familias reciben un manual en el que se detallan las obligaciones del estudiante con la escuela, con la familia y la relacion de HSI con la familia y con el estudiante.

DIAS DE LLEGADA Y PERIODOS DE ALOJAMIENTO
Los estudiantes pueden llegar dos días antes del inicio del programa y quedarse una noche mas al terminar el programa. Si llegan en fechas distintas se hará un cargo de 18 Libras por noche extra. El alojamiento durante las vacaciones de mitad de periodo estan incluídas, pero no las de Semana Santa ni Navidad.

CAMBIO DE FAMILIA
Aunque no sea muy frecuente en ocasiones el estudiante pide un cambio de casa de familia, para esto el Staff de HSI debe de investigar a fondo las razones y si es conveniente se realiza el cambio, pero primero trata de mediar la situación o el problema entre la familia y el estudiante.

When a day school student arrives at the host family the student adviser, host family and student together write a student care plan. This is an agreed document that clearly sets out the host family rules and arrangements. A copy is then sent to you.

Private day and state college school programmes accommodation includes two nights before the start of the school term date and includes one night after the end of the school term date. All day school programmes accommodation includes half-term holidays. School programme accommodation does not include accommodation during the Christmas or Easter holidays. It does not include accommodation for students arriving before the programme start date and leaving after the programme finish date, unless HSI has informed the student to arrive earlier or leave later than these dates. HSI will inform the agent of the programme start and end dates.
